AMC awarded Red Bull Arena project

AMC is pleased to announce our latest project: The Red Bull Arena Chiller Replacement Project at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison NJ. AMC will be responsible for the installation of two new 185-ton air cooled chillers and associated chilled water piping. This is a time critical project in which the new system needs to be integrated seamlessly so the stadium can maintain its chiller plant. AMC will also be responsible for installing a cooling system for the newly constructed storage rooms.

Red Bull Arena is home to the New York Red Bulls soccer team. 2020 marked the arena’s 11th season. This project is part of a series of upgrades to ensure the “best possible in-stadium experience to the most passionate fans in sports” according to Red Bulls General Manager Marc de Grandpre.

We are excited and privileged to be working for the NY Red Bulls.

AMC’s Latest Safety Initiative

Many companies tout Safety as a priority. For us, Safety isn’t just a priority, as priorities can change day to day. Safety is part of our core values. We foster a culture at AMC in which Safety is part of everything we do…we live it and breathe it every day, on the job-site and at home. We are constantly working to find new ways to keep Safety part of the way we think. This past summer, Advanced launched a new Safety Incentive in the form of Safety Bingo. Congrats to Devon DePersio, a 5th year apprentice with Local 274, for being the 1st official winner of Safety Bingo! Although an individual award, it takes a company-wide commitment to Safety to be eligible to win.

Verizon Linden Central Office

AMC Awarded Verizon Linden Project

Verizon needs no introduction – a mecca in American telecommunications, a household name that has cornered the market in wireless products and services, not to mention a network that prides itself in being unsurpassed and the most reliable. 

AMC is proud to announce that they have been selected by AECOM Tishman to renovate the HVAC System at the Verizon Central Office in Linden, NJ.  After successfully completing 2 smaller projects with Verizon in late 2018 to early 2019, AMC is enthusiastic to take part in a larger endeavor with Verizon and Tishman.

AMC will be responsible for upgrading the Chilled Water System including new chillers, pumps, and cooling coils, along with a new air handling unit with DX coil.

Celularity

Celularity, a biotechnology company, is consolidating its headquarters and moving to a new building in Florham Park, where they will occupy the entire 147k square foot building. AMC is installing a completely new Chilled Water and Hot Water System including 11 new roof top air handling units, 1 air cooled chiller, 1 new chilled water pump house, 3 new boilers, pumps and associated piping and coils.

AMC Awarded Celularity Project

Celularity, a biotechnology company, is consolidating its headquarters and moving to a new building in Florham Park, where they will occupy the entire 147k square foot building. We are excited to announce that AMC has been selected by Turner Construction as part of the “Dream Team” responsible for renovating the building in time for Celularity to move in and continue on their quest to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

The Dream Team is a reference used by Doug Mac Gorman, the Executive Director of Engineering and Facilities. He compares the group of contractors to the 1992 Gold medal winning USA Basketball Team. This group, who may or may not have worked together before, has come together with a common goal: “bring home the gold” and complete the project within the aggressive schedule presented, to help Celularity get settled in their new home and continue their work saving lives.
