AMC awarded Connell Drive project

AMC is pleased to announce our newest project. 200 Connell Drive is a 343,000 square foot, five-story office building, featuring a center grand five story atrium. Located in Berkeley Heights, the building went through a major renovation in 2007 which included a new cafeteria, new landscaping, improvements to the atrium, common areas, rest rooms and elevators. Tenants in the building currently include The Connell Company, Hewlett-Packard and Plymouth Rock Insurance.

The building is now undergoing a full renovation to the lobby/atrium area as well as some of the tenant space on all 5 floors.  Advanced Mechanical will perform all HVAC related work under Turner Construction. This will include installing a completely new heating hot water system and adding to the existing chilled water system. We will upgrade the facility with new fans, radiant heat, fan powered boxes, dual system fan coil units and make up air unit.

This is a time critical project that will utilize BIM to expedite the install.  The project has a completion date of this December. We look forward to working with the Turner team, ensuring attention to detail, safety first and on-time completion.

Advanced Mechanical announces NEW website!

After months of hard work, we are delighted to officially announce the launch of our new website!

Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easy way to learn about Advanced Mechanical’s HVACR Mechanical Contracting services and solutions. The new website is interactive and offers better visibility to projects we have worked on. Both current and prospective clients will find detailed information about the company’s history, our team, areas of expertise, safety initiatives and feedback from our customers, vendors and employees.

In addition to launching a new, upgraded website, we also recently launched an Instagram account. Our new site contains links to this and our LinkedIn page to foster improved communication within the industry. We will be constantly updating our content with project progress and images, information, newsletters, company announcements and new projects we have been awarded.

Description: Tenant fitout with a boiler plant upgrade as well as a new test lab with high pressure steam systems and high pressure compressed air systems. There were a multitude of compressed air systems for various test labs. Ranging from 100 psi to 3000 psi. AMC managed all piping aspects of the job in this 260,000 square foot building. We installed over 10,000 feet of pipe and completed over 20,000 man hours.
