As lead Estimator of Advanced Mechanical Corp. (AMC) Chris’s primary goal is to provide Customers with thorough, high-quality estimates. A well-thought-out estimate ensures the best possible price for the Customer and solidifies AMC’s ability to compete in the marketplace. Chris came to AMC with a diverse background. He has a BA in English, graduate degree in Teaching, and worked in customer service for almost 20 years. This, combined with his acute attention to detail and patient approach, makes him a natural fit in estimating.
A cross-functional approach with input from project management, field supervisors and foremen is crucial for all estimates. Chris works closely with other members of the team collaborating to ensure all bases are covered, prices have been vetted and negotiated, and we end up with a thorough bid that ensures a profitable job for AMC and of course the customer. Chris has successfully bid projects from $25k to $25M.
Chris is also a key member of the AMC Management Team, helping to set the direction of the company, aiding in our concentration on Safety First, and commitment to meeting or exceeding project goals.
Whether its budgets, wetside bids, mechanical bids – large or small, Chris stands behind AMC’s dedication to excellence and our mantra of “Let’s get the Job done”.
