Matthew brings more than 20 years of broad construction and business knowledge to AMC. His career began as an assistant in almost every department of a large sheet metal company. There he realized a knack for estimating. He went on to become a founding member of Advanced Mechanical and headed the Estimating department.
Matthew eventually found his passion in Project Management, though he continues to groom up-and-coming team members in Estimating, ensuring they meet the primary goal of providing customers with thorough, high-quality estimates. Matthew fosters a cross-functional approach to estimating, encouraging input from Project Management and Field Supervisors on all bids. The collaboration of the staff helps to achieve the most reliable estimates and ensures a successful, profitable job for AMC, as well as providing customers with the best pricing. Matthew has successfully led projects bid from $50k to $25M.
As an astute strategic thinker, Matt is a critical member of the AMC Management team, helping to set the direction of the company. He manages large and small scale commercial mechanical projects with the same on-site, hands-on approach implemented by the AMC owners. He prides himself on being a team leader, able to complete multiphase projects, overseeing costs, schedules, subcontractor progress, quality, team management and contracts. Backed by strong credentials and a history of on-time, on-budget high quality project completions, he is clearly committed to the company’s mantra of “Let’s Get the Job Done”.
